The sightseeing was so beautiful and our guides really made the trip special. This is a MUST do while in Hvar. Being a strong swimmer is recommended but not required (you can always choose to hang on the boat at some of the stops).

We were also treated to a beer and a water on the boat ride. My highlight was docking outside and swimming into Stiniva beach, what a great experience! Recommend bringing a jacket for the boat ride and a towel to dry off.
Brilliant day, in a fantastic boat with a tremendous Skipper in Antonia.
Blue Cave was way better than expected. Long haul to get there, but she did so despite... read more adverse winds and tides, so we got in. The entrance is incredible.
After that we had fantastic swimming stops in isolated inlets, with crystal clear waters and cliff jumps. Day finished with a lovely meal in Toto’s, and Antonia even phoned ahead and booked us a table.

I booked this tour with Kabina Boats. Ivona was our guide and together with our captain we had a lot of fun over Hvar nearby islands. They tried to avoid... read more the crowd making alternative routes. She was always checking on us and offering to take pictures.
For Blue Cave you have to pay extra 100kn to get into and usually there is a big line. She bought our tickets in advance and we went back later when our numbers were close to be called. The cave is beautiful but you only stay there for 2~3 min. It's very quick and you can't swim. The other places are fantastic. The downside was that we got to the island to have lunch after 5 so didnt have much time to enjoy the beach there. We ended up eating at Toto's. Their menu is a bit more expensive then on Hvar Island. I would not recommend eating there. Take some sandwiches and snack with you and you'll be fine. They did provide water and beers during the boat tour.
We booked our trip through Airbnb, which seemed really easy and a smart idea because of the price. The weather the day of the trip was not good (raining and... read more thundering), so at the meeting point we were told to wait because they had to figure out if it was safe. Totally fine.
After waiting a little bit Antonia cancelled our trip through air bnb. However the trip was still happening. We therefore had to pay them again which was fair. Antonia’s sister was in charge this day and told us to pay 1200 kuna for 2 people but we had only paid 993 kuna on Airbnb. We were not interested in paying more, because them cancelling our trip, which was still happening, was not our problem. We, of course, had a friendly and resolution resolving attitude because we still wanted to go on the trip and this was really a minor inconvenience. Antonia’s sister then called a boss to ask what she should do about our price point, which was lower than what she was charging. We waited patiently as she spoke with her boss. My friend speaks Croatian which the sister didn’t know because we kept all of our correspondence on English. On the phone Antonia’s sister at one point said: “oh they are being so annoying, I’m gonna dump them in the ocean!”, to which my friend responded “you are gonna do WHAT!???” in Croatian. The chok on her face was priceless and she responded “oh so you understand our language “ after that there were some tension in the air because antonias sister, of course, completely embarrassed herself in front of two “annoying tourists”. We got our price point and got on our boat trip.
Luckily we had two sweet guides on the tour with us! They deserve 5 stars for the tour they gave us - they were so nice and helpful. Antonia’s sister deserves 0 stars for her rude and threatening comments. She didn’t really have a reason for her attitude and it kind of threw us off.
All in all we will give the trip 1 star ONLY because of Antonia’s sisters threatening behavior. Truly a shame, because we had such a nice trip with the guides.
The tour is done in group by nature, but the humorous boat driver and friendly tour guide are so professional and experienced and generous that they make each one (I’m... read more traveling solo, for example) on the boat feel totally taken care of. The tour is so well paced and orchestrated that you feel taking your time at each spot while keeping moving onwards with each and every spot more and more incredibly amazing. This blue cave tour is so well-known on Hvar that it may seem easy to appreciate it, but this agency really complements the natural wonders with a warm humanism that guarantees the best experience of the blue cave tour and perhaps the best moment of your trip in Croatia. I recommend without any hesitation.
Great experience. The caves are amazing. Lots of swimming opportunities, so don't bother drying off between them!!! Bring food/snacks as lunch isn't until 3.30pm.
We had an amazing day! The boat was had was perfect! It was big and comfortable and made for a great day - as opposed to some other tours... read more that had smaller and very uncomfortable boats.
They took us to all the great spots near hvar and we had ample time at each place.
Highly recommend this tour!!
Great tour of some of the attractions outside of hvar. Antonia and her crew (I’ve forgotten his name) were amazing. The blue cave was initially closed but as soon as... read more they got notice it was open they headed over and we beat all the queues. The tour included some beers which were much needed in the sun.
Was an amazing day with an amazing crew. Antonia was our skipper and Vinka was the other crew member. They were excellent in explaining about each location we visited and... read more each place was different and more exciting than the next. The blue cave was by far the best location but came with a 70 kuna price tag to get in. We stopped at the “green caves” location but is also 70 kuna and Antonia explained that it was not really worth the money. A few of the others on the boat paid the money and went and said it wasn’t really worth the money. Definitely do the blue caves though, it was 100% worth it and beautiful to see. Overall the trip is a must do if you can get to Hvar town.
