  Fantastic - This was the highlight of our trip. The blue cave was awesome and is a definite must when visiting Hvar.

  Another 5-Star Review - Listen, I’m not going to sugar coat it and I’m certainly not going to write a good review simply because someone asks for it. But let me tell you, without... read more a shadow of a doubt, this was one of the best days I have spend in my almost 3 weeks in Croatia.

Antonia and Dario were our crew and when they said “you’ve got the best boat and the best crew” I thought it was a line they were feeding me - but it wasn’t. The boat was big, spacious, sexy. Plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. The ride was silky smooth and Antonia was a great pilot with great bits of information to share along the way. The green cave was meh - but blame the government for trying to capitalize on the attraction. I appreciated the crew being honest and advising us to save our money and warn us against the (now) tourist trap that is the green cave. With that said, they did a great job of getting us as close as they could for the best experience (given the circumstances). The blue cave was phenomenal - VERY beautiful. Outside of the main attractions, the crew also took us to some off-the-grid beaches and bays where we were allowed to swim, snorkel and do some cliff jumping. Drinks and waters were provided along the way, and the lunch spot we stopped at was really great. Bring a snack if you get hangry around noon because we don’t pull into “lunch” (dinner? I dunno) until around 5pm. We read other reviews so this wasn’t a problem for us. Dario was a great guide. Very funny, good conversation and very friendly. We had a great day of friendly banter and he is a great rock thrower - number one.

Like I said, it was a great day and one we will remember forever. Thank you Antonia and Dario for everything, we appreciate you both immensely for the experience you gave us.

On the day itself,... read more even thought it was Friday the 13th , we got on a very cool and comfortable boat with our guide and skipper Dario and Peter. These guys were very relaxed and fun! They looked for the best time to visit all the spots, told all the info on the spots and were a good laugh!

All and all we had a brilliant day and would definitely recommend! And try to get on the boat with these guys, it’s worth it !

Oh and… We even got to see a glimpse of some dolphins!

  We did a speedboat day trip with Kabina boats from Hvar.

We pre-booked our trip but there were people buying trips on the day. In the high season... read more (June - Aug) I recommend pre-booking your trip. On the day of your trip you need to checkin at the office which is located in the main square right next to the Argentinian restaurant called Don Armando Hvar - Argentinian Street Food. We were then split into two groups, we had no more than 12 to our boat.

Our tour guid and skipped both spoke English and the tour was all in English. I’m sure they offer other languages if English is not your preferred language.

I highly recommend the trip, with lots of opportunity to swim in the beautiful Crystal blue water! Snorkelling goggles were provided but not snorkels (bring your own if you want to snorkel). Each swimming stop is about 30 - 45 min which is more than enough time to enjoy the water.

Completely drinks are offered, including beer. I recommend you bring a snack/lunch as the first opportunity to stop for lunch is at about 4ish.

As part of the trip you get the option to explore both the Green and Blue caves, both of which are an addition charge. At the time of writing the Green cave was 50 Kuna and blue cave 70 Kuna. If you are travelling in 2023 you might have to pay in Euro as Croatia are move to the Euro in 2023.

We didn’t do the Green cave but did the Blue Cave which was amazing and highly recommended. You have to transfer to a separate boat with a local guide.

You can expect to be back in Hvar for around 5:45 - 6:00 pm, so a full day out.
